On January 25th we remember the Conversion of St. Paul. In honor of this day I have composed the following prayer.
Almighty God, on this day we remember the Conversion of St. Paul, thy zealous apostle and martyr. We thank Thee for the legacy of his ministry and example. And we ask, Heavenly Father, just as Thou turned the heart of St. Paul by the power of thy Holy Spirit, so turn our hearts.
Deepen our faith in Thee. Fix our hope on Thee. Kindle our love for Thee. So that we may confidently proclaim with thy servant St. Paul,
‘It is no longer I who live, But Christ who lives in me.’
We ask this all through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
